The Intervention 102 Training is centered on obtaining the Certified Intervention Professional Certification (CIP) accredited by the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB) and the Canadian Addiction Counselors Certification Federation (CACCF). The training is designed to enhance, motivate, and instruct healthcare professionals, elevating the care standards for those grappling with substance abuse and complex mental health conditions, and offering support to their families.
The course includes an eight-week supervision period, with four weekly hours dedicated to achieving 28 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) that encompass family systems, crisis intervention, ethical considerations, and interventions for addiction and mental health.
Attendees of Intervention 102 will receive guidance on meeting the requirements for the CIP certification from seasoned interventionists. Assistance with the CIP application process is also provided.
